WILD SWAG

It is exactly at 1:43am and im currently sitting on my bed editing, typing and browsing the web. I just cant sleep tonight cant wait to show you the latest shoot we had a week ago, so happy i found time to edit and its finally done. Im obviously addicted to Boy London apparells right now i love them so much cause theres just so much swag and timelessness to it. Pairing it with a combo leather black pants and gray plus sexy gym tank completing the look with a white hi-cut sneakers and black long socks will give you the ultimate SWAG look thats effortless and sexy cool. This next shoot was inspired by one of the most memorable fashion shows ever, the Louis Vuiton Spring Summer 2012.Women wearing glistening white mini dresses as they drape themselves across beautifully sculpted carousel horses. Marc Jacobs final collection for Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week was definitely superb, powerful and a celebratory way to end his work with the French fashion house. The dramatic all-black runway show featured retrospective aspects from Jacobs' previous Louis Vuitton runway shows including carousels, elevators, escalators, mirrors all covered black paint. The looks in the runway show were fierce, sophisticated and powerful. Models on the runway wore massive black feathered head-dresses and all the garments in the runway show had a distinct Victorian era vibe with a contemporary twist. Overall the show was amazing and Marc Jacobs amazing legacy at Louis Vuitton will never be forgotten.

Happy new year everyone! yeah... i know right better late than never... and its been a loooooong time, sorry! haha anyways now that i have more time in my hands be ready for more S-W-A-G looks and updates on my blog. im getting excited already i can feel that this gonna be an amazing year! ^_^

My DIY Lamp

KTZ Spring/Summer 2014

Symbols have recently become KTZ’s trademark, as were featured abundantly at AW13. This time they’ve had a pep-up, with ying and yang symbols taking centre on long gowns, bold silver markings striking out against an all black canvas and slogans such as “Poison” and “Terror” appearing across chests and trainers. The long layers and strategic fit are complimented with bold jewellery in piercing silver. Jewellery that takes menacing shapes in spikes, orbs and studs. Featured on snapbacks, shoes, masks, wrists and skirt linings the metallic additions brought this collection into an even tougher scene. As well as symbols, KTZ have played with print, coating an entire look in the same colour and print scheme. Ancient map prints were stretched over double latching rucksacks, headscarves, and knee length pinafores, while bold geometric prints in deep blue and red was found on harem pants, crombie coats and rib cuffed bombers.

The subliminal message here might not hit home straight away. World affairs are being in-explicitly played through symbols, prints and flag like capes, with words like “terror” probably insinuating more than first thought. Whatever the message, KTZ demonstrated an incredible eye for detail, finishing and print-work through this fantastic collection.
