Basso & Brooke Studio Spring Summer 2014

Designers Bruno Basso & Christopher Brooke of Lifestyle brand Basso & Brooke studio have unveiled their Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The collection has stayed true the brand’s signature style of bright coloured digital prints but has gone cool skater boy with short shorts teamed with loose fitting t-shirts, cagoules as well as sports and bomber jackets made from light fabric. This is a collection that urges you to book that long awaited holiday to an exotic location.

Here's a little FYI for you guys:

Basso & Brooke is a fashion label formed by Bruno Basso (a Brazilian) and Christopher Brooke (a Brit).

After meeting in 2001, they produced their first collection in 2004, and were the inaugural winners of Fashion Fringe,a UK talent competition to search out for the next big thing in fashion. The label is largely revered for their pioneering use of the digital print technique within the fashion industry. Tim Blanks of Style.com described them as the Pixar of clothes. They have also been described as "the masters of fantastical digital print."

Since then, they have launched numerous ready-to-wear collections from 2005–present.

In May 2009, Michelle Obama wore a piece from their SS09 collection at an informal evening of Poetry, Music and the Spoken Word within the White House. (pictured below)

PALLADIUM + KTZ SWAG

Finally got my first Palladium shoes and I've been looking for a well made boot in this style for years. The material is soft and the foot bed is comfortable...There is enough room in the shaft to accommodate thicker socks or possible skinny jeans .The thick rubber sole will be great for bad weather, too...I'm in love with Palladium <3

B O Y L O N D O N E P I S O D E 2 / LV SS2014

This next shoot was inspired by one of the most memorable fashion shows ever, the Louis Vuiton Spring Summer 2012.Women wearing glistening white mini dresses as they drape themselves across beautifully sculpted carousel horses. Marc Jacobs really is a genius. Now check out the jaw dropping Louis Vuiton Spring Summer 2014 after the jump!

Marc Jacobs final collection for Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week was definitely superb, powerful and a celebratory way to end his work with the French fashion house. The dramatic all-black runway show featured retrospective aspects from Jacobs' previous Louis Vuitton runway shows including carousels, elevators, escalators, mirrors all covered black paint. The looks in the runway show were fierce, sophisticated and powerful. Models on the runway wore massive black feathered head-dresses and all the garments in the runway show had a distinct Victorian era vibe with a contemporary twist. Overall the show was amazing and Marc Jacobs amazing legacy at Louis Vuitton will never be forgotten.
